This does sound like good news The first article didn't seam as positive for the resort but the second one still make s it seam like the sun may shine once again on skiers at laurel mountain. I just hope come sept 17 we find a new buyer and not someone who just bought the lifts and snow guns. if that were to happen I don't think we would ever be able to ski laurel again.
On a more positive note if a new buyer were to come out of this auction they might be able to open for this season. Since it had reopened Laurel had become my favorite place to ski. It challenging terrain low pass prices and small crowds are what puts laurel ahead of other resorts for me
