Hi. We are an expert ski family and have a 4th grader (as of early 2004) who is now so expert we cannot really ski with any of his friends from Lafayette Elementary School. We just got back from Snowbird/Alta where we skied all day for 8 days in a row. Seth skis black diamonds all the time. We are looking for another expert ski family with kids(s) of about the same age with whom Seth can ski locally and/or out west and/or in Vermont. You may want to enroll your son in one of the youth racing programs at Whitetail, Liberty, or Roundtop. That's probably a great way to meet other families with young skiers.
