Looks like yet another weather system very much missed.
That's about 2' of snow predicted in less than a week that turned out more like 5"

Nothing but freezing rain, ice pellets and a couple moments of snow here , 50 minutes west of 7S and HV.

I was planning on going up tomorrow but after seeing the ice, might just sit at home and count the money I've spent this past xmas.

Hopefully someone up there can tell me what the conditions / weather is/was like today.

I am actually in Florida now but I just got an email from the condo association at hv saying totals so far are 7" on the ground expecting 2-3 more

It has been snowing heavily here since 9 a.m. There is about 8 inches of fresh snow.

Epic day at HV today!
Was out from 9:30am till about 3:30pm. Except for about a 10 minute break around lunchtime, was snowing heavily entire time. No sleet or freezing rain at all. Small crowds (probably due to bad road conditions) and unskiied and piled powder everywhere.

Hv Facebook page shows opening a bunch more terrain tomorrow including cobra and voyager glades, barracuda etc

I think I'm going to cry. Sniff. So happy. I'm sure it will be much busier tomorrow but, I'll be there 30 mins before opening to ensure I get some good runs, especially the newly opened areas.

pending they dont open up 7s much more that is, as I have a seasons pass there. We shall see.

Looks like HV has been making snow for some time today too. They have been piling on for many many days. I think they are trying to make a grand effort to extend their season lol. Who knows.
