I'm not always near my computer and I see 7 Springs has an iPhone app.

Since I'm an android user, I wanted to get access via my phone to their ski report and webcam.

I see they have a mobile version of their ski report. While farting around a coupe weeks ago, I built a small free android app for me and a couple friends to see what's going on up there.

Two weeks have gone by and there are now 140 installations of the app. I sure was not expecting that.

It was nice to see live snow this morning right from my phone up there.

Nothing fancy but it beats typing in a bunch of stuff on my mobile browser.

If I get energetic one day, I may load up more of their cams.

As of midnight 1/15/13, there are 687 active installs of this app. Who would have thunk it?

I'm dabbling with a few other resorts, but no one really has a good ski report in a mobile format.

I see Viola is doing a mobile one for Timberline. Maybe next on my list.
