The 2012 D.C. & Baltimore Chill Shred-A-Thon is your chance to connect with snowboarders and skiers from the Mid-Atlantic who are going to be riding for a cause. Every dollar raised through the Shred-A-Thon will go directly to benefit the Chill program in D.C. & Baltimore.

How it works:

A Shred-A-Thon is set up like a walk-a-thon where participants collect donations from friends, families and community organizations. Your goal is to raise at least $100 in exchange for a full day lift ticket to ride in celebration of Chill! (Season pass and advantage card holders must raise at least $50 to register for the event).

Additional fundraising incentives will include:

- Raffle prizes from Burton and local shops!

- Prizes for greatest fundraiser!

- An opportunity to shred for youth who otherwise wouldn't get the chance!

To start supporting Chill click the "Register" button above. Then find friends, family, co-workers, and community members who are willing to help you in supporting Chill!

Shred-a-thon Schedule:

Sunday, March 4th 2012 at Liberty Mountain Resort 10am-4pm:

10:00AM: Check-in and Shred!

Afternoon: Live Music by Pigeons Playing Ping Pong

3:00 PM: Raffle, Awards, & Wrap-Up! Keep on Shredding!

*Schedule is tentative, check back for updates and locations.

The Chill Foundation is a non-profit, youth-development program that uses snowboarding as a vehicle for increasing self-esteem and teaching valuable life lessons to at-risk and underserved youth. This season D.C. & Baltimore Chill has given over 75 youth a life changing opportunity. Your support allows us to continue expanding our program in D.C. & Baltimore by offering the Chill "experience" to more youth and more local agencies.
