I think it is time for you to review your decision to eliminate the police force. This is certainly not what I call a family environment!!

I'm not saying that still having the 7S police force would have prevented either of these heinous acts, but it begs the question of the wisdom of the 7S management to disband the police force. 5000 skiers at $60 a clip covers the cost for a 4 person police force for an entire year.
Being a part time home owner in Laurel Mountain Village, I'd rather see the ski area NOT open under Nutting's stewardship, given his track record at the Springs.

HV: me & SS owners can empathize with you. At least SS doesn't seem to have that crime, though we have had death on the slopes. But patrons don't care, they'll come anyway, as-witnessed-by SS lift rates (higher then most real ski resorts out West), plus lousy service and lack of on-snow employees (or even volunteers). Even if they up it to $99 lift tickets next year - they will come!
