Hello all, new member here but longtime snow sports enthusiast.Currently have a forum over on skisoutheast .com
http://www.skinc.com/messageboard/showthread.php?t=12352Was wondering if there is an interest here to help complete this bakers dozen (a group of 13 is needed to lock in the rate of $399 ($423 after tax )for a unlimited season pass)before Oct 31 and rates go up. . Usually visit snowshoe midweek but might have to do some Sundays this season .Hence the need for a unlimited pass , as I've usually been a midweek pass holder there. Thanks all ,looking forward to the upcoming season and hopefully meeting some of the members out on the slopes!
I'll vouch, Brook is legit. Seems like there should be enough people in the dc/se region to put this together.
Not interested since I'm retired and will be going west again. But, is this a share in a ski house?

Brook is referring to a discount rate on a Snowshoe Season pass for groups of 13.
Scroll down a this page and you'll set it next to the check mark

no, but I was hoping for the same thing! i think i'm saving my out west trips for the summer next year. i'm a year round kind of guy :-)
I saw that a couple of weeks ago and thought hey that's really cool. I know exactly where that is.
Wow... And pet friendly too! Obviously I bought a condo at SS so no one could tell me I couldn't bring my Lab. But to find a pet friendly hostel is awesome.
surely surely there is someone who has been thinking about this.....you know who you are.
If I remember right, you call up and individually pay under a group name, correct? I need to think a day or two (read: work it into a conversation with wife first) but may be good for two.
Total would be 6 so far if your in pagamony. As much advertising as they do on their social network sites. I bet they would sell a whole lot more of those unlimited passes if they offered the bakers dozen discounted price to facebook fans .I know 5 right now that would buy passes at that price.
Sweet... thats a sick deal, anything like this around 7springs or timberline?
...yes, if you get a large group of boyscouts, a youth group, or a bunch of kids from georgia who will show up to a ski lesson with their boots on the wrong feet together then Doc will pay you all to ski at timberline, and even throw in a couple cafeteria meals...it's called the "timberline half-baked dozen or how ever many dozen can be packed into the bunkhouse"...
I'd be in for this again. I did this last year with a random group on Facebook, worked like a charm

. PM me if this is a go, I'll be buying my season pass sometime this month before they really decide to gouge us.

Tucker...you are still on a roll!!! Ask Brian to drop my a line, I can't find his new number.
Is that Snowshoe? Is that empty chair not running? One of the reasons I don't go to Snowshoe is the attitude of the patrol toward skiing closed terrain and woods. This does not look like the Snowshoe I am familiar with.
Denis, these guys must have not got caught. I noticed patrol set up at the bottom of areas where skiers would come out below the lift (where closed terrain emptied out). As skiers/boarders came down the would get an earful from the patroller.
I'm with you about Snowshoe, that's why I like Timberline so much. If patrol gets mad at your it is either because you aren't at the skill level needed for the terrain or because you are skiing off THEIR powder.
I can understand where you guys are coming from..There are pros and cons to pretty much any ski resort.Snowshoe has its moments though if you know when/where to go.Many uncrowded powder days over the years and plenty of powder stashes. Times running out on this bakers dozen anyone else interested ? Thanks Brook
