Skiing in Italy Really Starts on 12/4

I'm on the Dolomiti Superski mailing list and got an e-mail from them telling me that 280 of 450 lifts in all 12 of the Dolomite ski areas will be running tomorrow.

If you get a chance, ski the Dolomites. It is, in my opinion, the prettiest place in the world to ski.
