All the biggest traditional rivalries are played on Thanksgiving morning. My mother enjoyed this as much as us kids. The game was at 10 and we would be out of the house and out of the way, so she could cook without kids underfoot, until early afternoon. When we came home and opened the door the smells were heavenly.
