I was at Snowshoe over the weekend painting the walls in my buddies condo getting it ready for ski season. I just wanted to let you guys and gals know that The Market on Rt. 66 is closed. This is the market that is attached to the Exxon station near the Inn at the bottom of the Mtn. I had asked the cashier in the Exxon station if it was going to reopen for ski season, he said the owner was not planning on opening it, but was going to keep more groceries in the Exxon store. I had always stopped at the market to get last minute items, like cheese, deli meat and my favorite deviled eggs. Looks like I will have to find another market before getting there. Also the Bistro is now a Chinese/Asian Restaurant.
