If you watch the U.S. boardercrosses currently on Fuel TV, Robert Mcghinni is a former Snowshoe local and his mom owns Route 66 snowboard shop. It lists his hometown as Tahoe on the show, so I thought I'd post this to let everyone know where he is really from. It's nice to have local guys to root for. Oh yeah, some personal bragging. I knew Bobby, his brother, and Mom and Dad at that time. My son was a mountain brat along with those kids and a few others (albeit only part time). This would have been in the late 80s and early 90s before corporate take over of the mountain. Those were the days....
