a week after a nasty rainy as heck leaf peepers fest and mountain bike race came the epic fall days! a little chilly maybe but a little exercise can warm ya up fast! Blackwater Bikes owner roger lilly throws a riding party each year round this time called the tour de lilly. Doesn't get much nicer than this.

Where is the overlook with the iron rail..is that pendleton falls?

well the bottom pics with nobody in em are from sunday on canaan mountain trails and one at pendleton lake in bwfsp. The others are from blackwater canyon area. thru blackwater falls state park, across old strip mine to douglas to canyon rim to limerock trail to the railgrade back up to blackwater falls near passe point to dobbin house and back to town. (about 30miles.. most uphill just to enjoy riding down the Limerock Trail!)

that overlook is up off canyon rim road about a mile or so up from the limerock trailhead.
