To clarify a little bit ...

After you bring up the website for Ski Whitetail, click on "The Mountain"
then look at the bottom left corner.. note the new trail map?

I just want to see the new drawing of the map .. how is the map drawn showing where the half pipe is .. new carpet lift (400 feet?) .. it's supposed to be interactive type of map. some trees thinned out for the half pipe or something else in the park. I guess in general not much change from last season.

Will it show the "Fallmount" trail or not?

I just want to see the new map period. *click *click

I was wondering when the truth would finally be known. Ok - I admit it - I am a Drop Out.

Drop Out is a little cut through trail that let's people getting off the jib junction double cut across angel drop and get to Drop In and the expert terrain (aka "K" side). It was new last year with the new double chair. Last year it was fun to be skiing with folks over to K side, ditch them at the split and then "magically" reappear in the middle of Drop In.

Part of the newness of the trail map is that it was redrawn by Jame Nieheus. The other additions/changes are:
-the new magic carpet on Northern Lights
-moving 101 park place from Stalker to the old 1/2 pipe location on skiers left of Snow Park
-moving the 1/2 pipe to a new clearing in between the jib junction double and lower Angel Drop/Jib Junction
-the "trivia question" trail is now shown on the map, but still not named on the map

The trivia question is:
Name the only trail at Whitetail that has a trail sign but is not shown on the map.

Fallmount has always been on the maps. It's just now easier to read.

Skiable acreage has grown by 3 acres (117->120). Uphill capacity has grown from 12,200 people per hour to 15,000 pph. That seems like a lot for a magic carpet (a person every 1.3 seconds). Hmm - I wonder what a magic carpet six pack would look like?

Rusty,

Is it the connection b/w Velvet and Almost Home?

(I assume that you're looking for the trail now shown, but not named, on the new WT map.)

Nope. That cut through does not have a trail sign. It is not an official trail. The trivia trail is visible on the new map, but not on the old one.

"Jib Junction" was previously just marked "Terrain Park" on the map. Didn't it used to just be "Lower Angel Drop"?

Nevermind, I see it referenced as jib junction/lower angel drop one one of The Rusty's old posts.

Yes! It's a Small trail, but Pow has not given away the whole answer yet.
