Looking for some gouge on Tahoe?

I am thinking of taking advantage of the free ticket deal at Squaw this February.

Anyone have any gouge on where to stay?

I assume fly into Reno.

Gouge???

If you are asking about places to stay cheap, Casinos have cheap rooms and cheap good food 24/7.

Haven't stayed around northshore of Tahoe, but here's some info from epicski:

Is the deal on tickets in Feb open to the public?

Unless the tickets are free everyday you will be there, I would also recommend hitting both Alpine Valley and Mt Rose for a day.

I love Squaw, and it's huge, but there is a certain quality to both Alpine and Mt Rose that I really enjoy.

And definitely fly into Reno, its way closer than S.F. and generally much cheaper to get there.

We have skiied in the Tahoe area many times - there are lots of terrific resorts. Check out my articles on dcski.com.
Try to stay at a Casino, on the Nevada side. I do not gamble, but you can get cheap rates, fancy rooms, and terrific food at some of the Casinos. Best deals are in Reno, but then you waste time commuting.
Book beforehand on line. Yours, Connie Lawn

First...winter is not the best time to go to Bermuda. It can get raw!
Second, if you do go, be sure to pick up a "Ski Bermuda" tee shirt...says Bermuda Ski Patrol with a green cross on front.
