A few days to go in the month but it looks like this month will go down as one of the coolest in recent memory.There have been 7 days with lows in the 40's (42 is lowest)The Ave Max temp is running around 67 with Ave Low at 51 making the Ave Mean temp the coolest in last 5 years & running a whopping 5 degrees below ave...I should add that all data is from 3715'..Temps usually max out in the low 80's up there but this july there have been only 2 days at 77 with most days in upper 60's
Factor in the 1.5 to 2 degrees that the earth's temps have risen due to Global Warming & it makes it even more impressive...

Just something to do while sipping Coffee down here on ..HOT.. Amelia Island,FL......

We even got down to 37.8 degrees last week here in town!

I figured that if anyone responded to this post that it would be you Jonjon..Jesse ferrel at accuweather has a blog on all the record lows since may...lets hope we can keep this trend going thru the Winter!

was up in the sods earlier today/this weekend... today will help with the avg.. was 61 @ 2 pm with 25 mph wind and rain!!! downright freezing for july!

Hopefully it will carry over into Jan...And not be 60 deg on new years day like it has been last few years...
