I just picked up a copy of this book by John Phillips. Even in this web-centric age it's still nice to be able to grab a book from a bookshelf and read about our favorite local resorts. Thanks for a great resource, John!

Any chance for a similar guide for mountain biking?

Thanks for the compliment! The Guide is already outdated, w/no chance for a third edition. Funny you mentioned mountain biking--I edited the first Mountain Bike DC/Baltimore and Mountain Bike Virginia Guides with author Scott Adams, which formed the idea for my ski guide.
