skier219,
As the DCSki resident weather expert on Wintergreen, what do you think the weather might be Sat. and Sun.?
Some prognosticators indicate rain Friday, then a dry morning Sat. followed by more showers Sat. afternoon after 1:00PM, the all turning to Snow and snow showers on Sunday. Others say more rain, and some say more snow.
Craig, please look in your crystal ball and give me your best shot. I hope to take the grandkids down for the weekend if there will be some skiing to be had...lot to spend to just look at the rain falling. And the next few weekends are not viable for the grandkids, so going later is probably not an option.
Help!
Thanks,
The Colonel smile

This is about psychology not weather. Here is a story.

One day at Wintergreen, Sunday morning, raining and foggy. Limited slopes open. Very few people out. My son and I racing down dobie as fast as possible, spraying each other with rooster tails. No wait on the sixer. Talked to one of the guest workers from Chile. We were both smiling. She says these are good days, when only the fun people are out.

I only regret that things I don't do.

Hope the image worked.

Looks like Sun. is the best bet. Potential for rain, but least it will be below 32. The inputs are Red=Temp below 28. Blue=Temp below 32. Green is humidity below 50% and Brown is chance of precip above 40%. Skier219 is better with models so hopefully he will chime in before you leave.
