NOAA is saying 6 inches above 3000. Timberline and Snowshoe are still open. I'm trying to decide weather to go--much will depend on what I hear tomorrow from Chip's White Grass report.

As of 5:30 am today we had 12" on the ground at about 3500' and it was snowing steadily. It was however raining about an hour to the west and there is a chance of it all changing to rain later this afternoon. Hopefully it won't.

I'm itching to go tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Please tell me the groomers won't touch the powder!

Thanks WVK2rider. Keep us posted on what happens. A lot of us are on the fence about the weekend. If the rain does not much the snow up too much, many of us will head up.

Just talked to my wife and she said it was still snowing lightly. The thermometer on Canaan Heights Cam is showing 30 degrees.

I'm wondering what the conditions will be tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Warmer temps, melting, etc?? Not that it would stop me but I'm pacing circles here now of why I'm not up there partaking in the snow as it falls.
