All the information you need is here:

http://www.dcski.com/resorts/

"DCSki provides detailed coverage of 29 major ski resorts in the Mid-Atlantic. This page provides links to resort profiles. You'll find a wealth of information about each resort, including details on winter and summer activities, statistics, trail maps, a list of related news articles, upcoming events, and more."

There's even more information about these resorts in the message forum logs. Knock yourself out. [Cool]

Hello All,

Contemplating a possible move to D.C. Could you list the three nearest ski areas to the D.C. metro area? These could include smaller hills and larger resorts.

Thanks much,

Ben

Depends where you move to. I'd say the three closest will most likely be Liberty, PA; Whitetail, PA; and Bryce, VA (though Roundtop in PA might be closer than Bryce, not sure about that). The closest two day trips (weekend destinations) are probably Wisp in western MD and then Canaan Valley/Timberline or Seven Springs.
