Congratulations! A West Virginia medical school? I had surgery there once. The operating room was in a trailer and the operating table was supported on concrete blocks. The entire staff was related and the one doctor was playing a bango.

Out here in KS, I do my best to uphold WVA, but unfortunately the current mayor of KCMO- Funkhouser (sp?), those who follow politics may have heard of him- is from WV and by that fact alone my task has become impossible. I am ashamed of him. Ashamed.

Couldn't help it, snow's banjo joke cracked me up. I mean, what's not funny about a banjo. Even the word banjo is funny.

David is a good guy and will make a great doc. We need to keep him rooted in the insanity that is DCski. Plus he's going to get his butt kicked in med school, so we may as well lighten the mood while we can -- he'll thank us for it later. I got a serious [censored] kicking in grad school, which is why I now hear banjos playing in my head all the time
