Liberty is making lots of snow right now. Trails open today included all of the frontside with the exception of one half of the terrain park and the half-pipe. Backside trails open were Heavenly, Whitney's Way and upper and Lower Ultra. Coverage on the open trails was good and the snow was nice dry man made. Traffic was very light for a holiday and only the middle of lower Heavenly had any slick spots. From the looks of the snowmaking, Upper and Lower Eastwind will be open soon, probably by Saturday. The backside was pretty deserted all day and only the beginner area was crowded.
