Currently snow making on Rebel Yell which should be open on Sat about Mid Day. DJ is open, Paradice remains closed, not currently blowing snow there. Concentrating on the Terrain Park which will be open tomorrow morning. DJ is ridin great today.

Ah no night skiing bummer...got to work otherwise I might head up there.

Skied at Mass. today. Best early conditions I've ever seen. DJ, Southern Comfort and Yebel Yell had pretty good coverage with a little ice here and there. Geranamo(spelling?) didn't have full coverage but the snow was good. We were there late morning and early afternoon. Not much of a crowd, skied on to lifts. Crowd was picking up when we left. Way to go Massanutten!!!

Any word on when night skiing will begin???

Will be night skiing at Massanutten on the 12th-14th. Decision about the following week will be made later this week.

Has anyone been up to Massanutten lately - how are conditions holding up?

Work and live here. Snow is holding up well, water was recharged yesterday and we will be blowing snow fri night, sat day as long as temps hold and sat night. should all be good. paradice should be opening by dec 25.

I imagine the base is hurting with all this freaking rain we keep getting.

Base is holding up ok. Still open to the top on both rebel yell and DJ. Snow was good yesterday on DJ. Cover is thin on Geronimo, terrain park is closed until we can make some more snow. tube park is open with 5-6 lanes. FYI this weekend we are charging regular season weekday rates instead of regular season weekend rates. so come out and enjoy. We plan to start making snow on Sun as soon as temps cooperate.

I was just going to ask about the rain. Plan to ski Dec. 22-25. Hoping the cold gets there fast and the snow is fully developed on Sun.

Didn't really rain much on Friday. We will begin making snow tonight. lows in the mid to lower teens and we should be able to make snow all day monday, mon nite, tues nite, thurs nite and fri nite. your conditions for your visit should be good. don't forget to visit our waterpark while you are here.

Pretty cold today, but plenty of machine snow on the slopes. The guns were on all day. Got to 32 degrees at base briefly. Back down to the 20's by 4pm.

A few icy patches at the top of Diamond Jim. But generally quiet under my skis. Rebel Yell was machine powder all over.
