7 Springs open on Friday Will HV match?

The first shot has been fired in the race to open in the laurels
I hope so becuase they are going to be free!
The question is if HV is open and free, why would you ski 7s?
With 7S opening for skiing this Friday, I hope in return that they CLOSe somethING...
Just got the email from 7S saying they are a go for this Friday 11/2
HV announced thr the 28th in an e-mail. I heard they may still need final lift inspections completed. May have something to do with the delay.
That could be it. Snow making should not be the issue, lift inspection could cause them delay.
I hope that snowmaking is not an issue. They did push some snow today so who knows.
