Anybody see a 7Springs brochure, or anythin detailing prices for this ski season? They usually have some real special rates for just after 31 Dec and the first week in Jan. But there website is mum on lodging and skiing cost for the upcoming season! What gives?

Actually, they made so much money charging $3 to park at Autumn Fest, that skiing is going to be free this year.

Listen, this economy gives 7S a perfect excuse to get out of this deal. I can see it happening. As a matter of fact, I expect it to happen. I also can't see the state funding this effort. If the state would have moved faster when negotiating with Buncher, we might have been skiing Lower this year. The economy has done what 7S would have wanted done except now 7S doesn't get a black eye in the process.

Agreed Laurel is likely dead for now, however unfortunate.

Suspect at the end of the day Buncher may be better off not being involved with it and instead working with Wisp as announced where there is an existing, well run operation with more cross pollination benefits even though the distance is greater.

But the question remains, anybody seen a 7Springs brochure or website with costs and deals for this ski season?

Although they can't seem to come up with a ski brochure, they would be happy to sell you real estate. See announcement of new $75-100M Jack Johnson Designed Development:

I guess news of the credit crisis and housing slump has yet to reach rural PA.

Does anyone know if 7 Springs ever bought the equipment and building from Somerset Trust?

Thanks, actually the address you provided only got me to the cost of ski tickets, etc. But working on the assumption that if this was posted to their site, then the lodging packages would be also, I clicked on lodging and the packages for ski season are now available.
So, rjsherrin, you got me there. Thanks again.
