Just checked the extended forecast. Looks like will dip into the 30's some nights within the next couple weeks whistle

Since 1944 the coldest temp on this date was 28 back in 1976 (Remember that cold year?)..the valley recorded its highest 24 hour rainfall of 4.62 inches on this date in 1996. There is a 50% chance of freezing weather after the 8th & a almost sure bet after the 30th of sept. An Observation on Sept 2nd,1919 stated that it was cold enough for Dew to freeze on a Doorstep.
There have been Snowsqualls & snow showers reported after the 20th with only trace accum at valley floor but with measurable accums at highest elev.

ps..I have personaly recorded a temp of 38 (3000') while camping out at my property(just south of valley) a few years back in mid to late aug.

Yehhh..Rub it in..You MUDDAH!....I was a SWEET 16 back then & sledded my [censored] off..& then I'd go home & get the [censored] back Stuffing myself withh PP&J's because I had the "Munchies" crazy blush
