Taking advantage of a business trip to Boston, I've decided to try Loon Mountain tomorrow. They call over 40-inch base. So no sweat lost by trying. I did bring my boots and other ski gear except for the skis.
Will advise how the conditions turn up. There's still about two more weekends of skiing in NH and VT.
