Sometimes when I am logged on to DCSki, and even when I am replying to another's post, I do not see my name in the "Who's Online" box in upper left. Why is this? Anybody else experience this?

I think there's a lag. Sometimes I see myself on after logging off too before turning off the computer.

Plus if you access a page containing the Who's Online box via the browser back button you'll be seeing older data. (The page accessed via the details link in the Who's Online box automatically refreshes.)

This may have been mentioned on another thread, the most of the "anonymous users" are not lurkers but web spiders used by Internet search engines.
