Hey looking for info on SKY Valley GA. I know it is closed and read some info on the web.

Looking for any addtional info some one might have.

Sounds like an interesting place. I like this little comparison right here: "But with black diamond slopes named "Gravity's Revenge" and "Kamikaze," you would have thought it was Jackson Hole, Wyoming."

Were those 2 slopes really that challenging? (I'm sure not that challenging, but were they must have been pretty tough to earn that comparison, right??)

Ya it looked pretty cool. I drove up there one day in 2003(?) they were skiing off the one chair lift.

It was one of those Brigadoon type places. You started down in the valley and drove up-up-up a road to the small nook in the hills were it was located.

I knew folks who drove up every weekend in the 90's. I guess there were not enough of them. Although it had a rap for being crowed on the weekends

I kicked my self for not skiing when I was there.
