I love such stories. I just forwarded it to my dad who turns 70 this year and was questioning how many years he has left just the other day.

One of my really great friends recently ran Marine Corps AND Boston Marathons at the ripe young age of 76. He oftentimes comes over to my place at the Shoe, and does incredibly well on the hard blues, taking the steeps with a grace and form seldom seen today, but which was particular for a by-gone era of Jean-Claude Killy...

Folks like this keep me inspired to try and stay healthy and look forward to retirement. I enjoy talking to some of the elder statesmen of skiing. Maybe someday I will be able to enjoy the over 70 club. http://70plusskiclub.com/
On top of that looking at the things they accomplished. It is often not surprising to me that folks that have a positive attitude and keep on living are folks that have a history of living life to its fullest.
