Anyone know why Timberline has not opened Lower Dew Drop? It cannot be weather and they started blowing snow on it in January. I heard they had huge whales sitting. President's Day is approaching and I wonder if they intend to open this main slope. There are houses that are ski in/out on Lower Dew Drop. Snowboarders always have a blast on the slope. Looking for answers.

There are large whales on Lower Dew Drop, but they are not quite large enough for the jumps that are wanted on the terrain. With the cold temps. this week, hopefully Lower Dew will be opened for Pres. Day weekend, but I'm not sure exactly how much more snow is needed. However, the Bear Claw rail park is fully opened and will remain opened for night skiing beginning this weekend!
