Just read this from the NWS. Could be just what we need to finish out the season.

looking into days 8-10...500 mb ridging building across western Continental U.S./Canada and east of Greenland...may finally be enough for a pattern change in the eastern United States. There are even some hints that both of these high latitude ridges link up briefly north of the polar vortex...which would be even more favorable for keeping some colder air locked into the eastern US.

We need something. Even at traditionally strong snow making mountains it could be nip and tuck in March.
