I have seen several references recently about DCSkiers planning to go to The Wisp this coming Sat, Dec 8 to participate in the birthday weekend and the cheap lift tickets. Just be aware that the $7 lift tickets are for Sunday and Monday only, the Sat ticket, will be more.
From the WISP website:
"Lift Tickets:
$7 1-day ticket Sunday, Dec. 9 or Monday, Dec. 10 - adult or junior
$14 2-day ticket Sunday & Monday, Dec. 9 & 10 - adult or junior
3-day ticket (sat, sun & mon) $46-adult, $39-junior"
