I just got home from dinner, and there was sleet (or freezing rain) bouncing against the windshield. It happened to be 10:38, so I caught the traffic and weather on the 8's, to hear that "none of the precipitation will be reaching the ground" until tomorrow mid-day. Umm, ok. And, further, they assured me that it would all be liquid rain when it DID reach the ground because the dewpoint is in the teens. Umm, Ok.

All I know is, I've got frozen precip landing on the ground here in Leesburg, and therefore, I will not be able to take their forecasts seriously for the foreseeable future.

Bring on the snow. In copious amounts....
