ok I think that was what it was called. As I recall from in flight mag's in the 80's. It was a radio that had speakers that pointed into your neck and you heard the sound from there via your "bones".
As I recall the ad said it was designed for skiers or the inventor was a skier or some such.
just chatting on the subject and thought I would throw it out there....
Dang, I do remember hearing about that. What in the world provoked that flashback?
Can you imagine what Will Farrell could do with the bone phone if he used it in a movie?
Sure, Radio Shack sold a version of it well into the later '80s.
