Hey folks, I have a bunch of nice, well maintained gear that I don't use any more. Skis, boots, gloves, pants etc. Does anyone know what organizations can use this kind of a donation?

Thanks.

You might call your local ski shop and ask. The other day I noticed a basket in the Ski Chalet of Chantilly store that was collecting old winter jackets from the public for distribution to the needy.

Many ski swaps are run for charities. The swap at the Arlington Ski Chalet this Saturday Novemeber 17 benefits the Whitetail Ski Patrol. They will accept gear donations.
