GREAT SALT LAKE DESERT AND MOUNTAINS-WASATCH MOUNTAIN VALLEYS-
WASATCH MOUNTAINS I-80 NORTH-WASATCH MOUNTAINS SOUTH OF I-80-
SOUTHWEST WYOMING-
703 AM MDT THU OCT 4 2007

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN UTAH AND SOUTHWEST
WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A COLD FRONT ASSOCIATED WITH AN APPROACHING PACIFIC STORM WILL
REACH EXTREME NORTHWEST UTAH TONIGHT. RAIN...ALONG WITH HIGHER
ELEVATION SNOW...WILL DEVELOP OVER THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE
STATE TONIGHT. EAST OF THE FRONT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A VERY COLD STORMS SYSTEM WILL MOVE EAST THROUGH NORTHERN UTAH AND
SOUTHWEST WYOMING LATE FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. PRECIPITATION WILL
CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW BY SATURDAY...WITH HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE IN
THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGHER VALLEYS. THE HEAVIEST SNOWS WILL OCCUR
OVER THE WASATCH RANGE AND HIGH UINTAS...WHERE AROUND A FOOT OF
SNOW IS POSSIBLE THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.

LINGERING SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE MOUNTAINS...NORTHEAST
UTAH VALLEYS AND OVER SOUTHWEST WYOMING ON SUNDAY. DRY AND COOL
CONDITIONS WILL COME WITH THE START OF NEXT WEEK...THEN A WARMING
TREND TOWARD THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK.

yeah man, I noticed it was a little warm yesterday too when I went fishing on my lunch break. and the drought is ridiculous! I went to the beaver dam resevoir in loudoun and was almost all but dried up! was almost surreal looking.
