according to the article below, Saltlick Township has repealed it's "dry" status so that 7Springs can serve alcohol in the portion that sits in Saltlick, which is essentially all of the North Face side. It sure would be nice to grab a beer at the foot of the new 6-pack lift on Gunnar.

I welcome expanding the eating / drinking facilities at 7 springs. It can be really really hectic at either Tahoe Lodge or at the main base area on a prime season weekend. As for the drunk skier alert... It's not like you can't get a beer at lake tahoe lodge right now. And according to the article:

"The resort has no immediate plans to erect a bar or restaurant in the area, but passage of the referendum was a prerequisite for development"
