My brother-in-law is visiting for the weekend from Florida and we are going to spend the weekend at Whitetail. He is an expert skier, but won't be bringing his equipment so he will have to rent. I have an extra pair of tele skis that I wanted him to try, but can't find anyone I know with an extra pair of 10.5-11 tele boots. So, looks like he will have to rent alpine gear. Does anyone know if Whitetail carries decent rental equipement that a good skier would be happy with? If not, any suggestions.

Thanks

I can't imagine renting boots unless I absolutely had to. Remembering all my experiences with rental boots in the past, wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I'd say have him bring his boots, then demo a pair of skis.

Unfortunately, its at the end of a long (nonski) related trip so he is going to have to rent. I agree its not ideal, but its better then sitting on the couch.

Have you called any shops?

Ski Center, for example, has some really interesting stuff in their rental/demo fleet.

Ski and Tell

Snowcat got your tongue?
