Over the past couple of years many have posted trying to meet other DCSkiers while at a resort like Timberline, etc.
Scott agreed to offer the classic DCSki pin, but seeing it while on the slopes or in a crowded lodge is difficult at best. MY THOUGHT: Why don't we pick a ribbon color, say red, and place it on our ski poles through the straps. Or if boarding, hook it to our gloves, or boots, or ski jacket zippers, ticket holder, goggles, helmet, where ever it is obvious. Just a small piece will do, not too wide, a bright red, and maybe six to 12 incles long, or long enough to be noticed. Cheap, yes. Might work, yes? What are your thoughts.

Sounds like a plan Colonel! The Ski Club of DC used to do that (I haven't skied with them in years) and it worked very well. It certainly makes it easy to spot each other.

Anyone else have thoughts??

Cheers!

Reminder to wear a red ribbon on gloves, poles, anywhere it can be seen...then we all will know you are a DCSki poster.
Let's give it a try. I will today at Whitetail, and the weekend at WISP.
Finally getting out!! WOOHOO!
