What's the quickest route to get to Snowshoe from N. VA?

Hi, I've taken many routes, and have finally decided that the following is my favorite:
66W to I-81 South to Strasburg Va. Only stay on 81 for a few miles until you pick up Hwy 55. Stay on Hwy 55 while crossing over the WV line and into Petersburg. Then hit 28 towards Greenbank/Cass until you hit your final 15 mile stretch...Route 66 into Snowshoe.
I made it from Alexandria to the Top of the Mountain check-in via this route in exactly 4 hours.
