It's official. Arapahoe Basin opened up this morning. Ski season has "officially" begun.....Is it a bad omen for the season that the first resort opened on Friday the 13th????

Loveland opens today. (Oct 14) http://www.skiloveland.com/

This is the first time in 14 (I think) years that Loveland has not been first. Ok, what are the cheap flights to Denver? We have two mountains to chose from!

Yes, that's right John, I'm finally starting to see the upside of the flatlands. Granted, it's still not as good as living in SLC or Denver, but it's a step in the right direction.

Regarding Taos, the reason I'm going to Denver is related to a project we'll be doing down in New Mexico. I'm not sure if or when, but there's a reasonable chance I'll be in Albuquerque for the project sometime later this fall or in the winter. But we can talk more on PM...

ps- as you can imagine, I'm pretty creative with coming up with work reasons as to why we need to have conferences/meetings/etc in Denver/Co Springs/Albuquerque etc. My boss, unfortunately, sees right through my supposed concern for efficiencies and effectiveness ...
