I posted a new mail-in letter on SaveTheSharpFarm.com. Please print, stamp, and mail it. Please please please. :-) Here's the link:
Three Times Taken
"Three Times Taken" is written for U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller (WV). Senator Rockefeller resides in Pocahontas County, not too far from the Sharp Farm of Slatyfork. This letter speaks to Rockefeller of the value inherent in Slatyfork's history and culture, of the recent development in the WV Supreme Court concerning the proposed sewage facility, and of the impending sale of Intrawest to Fortress. The letter also raises concerns regarding the timing and motivations of the current proposal and the upcoming sale. Lastly, "Three Times Taken" asks how we can rightly take Sharp's land by eminent domain - for the third time.
