I flew in to Burlington, VT from Dulles with hubby and the kids on Saturday night. We arrived at Smugglers Notch 15 minutes before the restaurant closed. They were kind enough to stay open for us. We are staying in our timeshare at The Evergreen which is a very nice slopeside 2BR unit.
The lifts closed here on Sunday so we took in a few runs Sunday afternoon.
Monday we went off to check out Stowe and visit the Ben and Jerry's factory. Spring conditions with a little rain, snow and fog.
Tuesday was Jay Peake and the Burton Snowboard factory. They have these really cool light boxes in the floor of the store called "vaults". Each "vault" contains board, boots, bindings and other memorabilia of various riders. They also have a wall of Burton snowboards from 1978 to today.
Jay Peake still had lots of snow left but very slushy.
Wednesday is back to Stowe and Thursday will be Sunday River in Maine or Killington.

It's always good to spend time with the family on snow!

Sounds like a fun trip. The spring skiing in VT/ME has been pretty good this year.

I was up at Stowe on Sunday, and I really couldn't have asked for better spring conditions. I too stopped by the ben and jerry's factory, and uhh since they only had magic brownie ice cream in pints (rasberry and brownies) not cones, I of course had to buy a whole pint and ate it in one sitting

I was actually doing the college tour thing over spring break (I visited 9 of them), was in the area, and what a shame that colleges don't have tours on Sundays...
