Thinking of a last minute day trip tomorrow. I get the idea the local warm weather has been, well, local.

Only been to Wisp, Shoe and Whitetail.

Where's the best place/conditions w/in a reasonable drive for a one-day warm up for my trip to the Alps (in 9 days)?

I can see driving up to about 2.5 hours from DC....

You need to drive a bit more--3.5-4 hours. That will get you to Wisp, Timberline, CV, or 7 Springs, which should all be ok, at least for Sat.
