But if we get really dumped like all the stars align and we are blessed with the super chubby snowpack then ill try and slip out to wv mtns for some downhome southern style backcountry, yum yum

Well its not looking like my map will hold. New model runs have too much warm air and keeping most of what would have been our heaviest snow as underdeveloped snow commonly known as rain.

Edit to map- Trace people, sorry, Flurries at the end. 2-4" people- inch at best. 4-8"ers- 2-4". 8-16"; make that 4-12". and anything over 16", make that over 1'. Shoe might pick up 1.5', but that does not include the coming clipper. This just valids through wednesday.

Ill go on a limb saying shoe will get 2-3' all the way through saturday. (Will be wrong i bet)

It's already started John. I was working in Moorefield tonite until 2am and when I left it was snowing *HARD*. The top of branch mountain had already accumulated what appeared to be a solid 2" on the ground already. However the snow disapated by Baker and became non existant.

Their web site says they're making snow on Swoop and the terrain park also. Don't know when they'll open, but they're making snow.

You are right on about affording to take a day to ride. Actually I was doing contract work for WalMart installing several new database servers that could only be done during non-peak hours. Most of the work I do is I.T. consulting, network engineering, or server related. Now I'm adding VoIP and VoIP servers to my resume, all of which combined give me the worst sleeping schedule.
