I'm gonna quit my job, sell the house, cat and dog, (well, maybe keep the dog), pack up the spousal unit and go where the snow is!!! (I wish I could )Someday I will really do it.

At this minute, it is 34 degrees F, with light snow/fog in Williston ND. Feels as if it's 13 degrees F. Expect 1-3 inches. Kinda flat, though.

Apparently some places in North Dakota got upwards of two feet of snow. The AP report said that this storm came just days after it was in the 90s in ND. I didn't believe this, so I checked the last 7 days of weather in Bismarck, ND via weather.com. Sure enough:

Apparently Bismarck got two days of autumn this year. Which, given that it's in North Dakota, is about twice as many days as usual!

And some people wonder why there are fewer people in North Dakota than there are in Fairfax County, Virginia...

All my Norski relatives that trace thier way from Norway live in Fargo,ND. Sweet people that love living up there.Hard working farmers for the most part that enjoy some beautiful lakes for recreation year round. Fishing for walleye & northern pike & all the water sports in the summer & Ice fishing & snowmobiling(& heavy drinking) in the winter.I love to visit...The people are so naturally wholesome & the women are norski beauty's!! There is a small ski area in Detroit lakes,Minnesota just a short drive from fargo.
