Not arctic cold, mind you, but last night it dropped to 37 here in Blacksburg, and both Burkes Garden VA and Lewisburg WV reported 32. That means we hit freezing in the mountains before Oct 1! Has anyone seen any reports coming out of Davis, CV, or Snowshoe on their lows? The high valleys may have fallen to 30 or colder (Marlinton, Durbin, CV, etc).

33 at Davis
37 at Snowshoe
No report from the CV station

The peaks were a little warmer than the valleys.

Does anyone have the link to the website that lists all of the temps and precipitation across WV? It has high and low temps for just about anywhere in WV for each day. I lost the link when my computer died and now I can't find it.

Screw the temp. I can't believe you are checking the TLine website at 6 in the morning. You really are desperate aren't you.

Kennedy - Your right... Just waiting on the snow... I'm tired of 95+ temps, atleast last night here in the area we had a cool night.

LM had two cold nights in a row (frost in the morning again, what a great feeling!) Actually had to turn the furnace on last night to keep my kid from becoming a soncicle. I was even burning a fire for two days. You have to love the smell of cold air and burning wood mixed together! The only thing missing is the taste of ski resort coffee!

Indeed it was Roger... my uncle in Lost City noticed ice on his car windshield before leaving for work, although the grass didn't frost over.

Outstanding! Unfortunately the first cold air quickly ran away and now we're flirting just a few degrees away from a record high again. I am so sick of this summer- have been sick of it since late July- and it just keeps dragging on. I try to put things in perpsective by remembering that it was cold until early May this year, but darnit- where are the cool, rainy autumn days of October? Where's the crisp afternoons? Are we gonna have to wait for November to get October weather? Fall is such a nice season, and so far there hasn't been much of it...

Its coming- slowly but surely.
