Connie's story on Loveland is more evidence that the secret is out on that place. I am one of many who dismissed it or overlooked it for decades until a visit two seasons ago. It really has a nice sampling of many of the terrain features Colorado is famous for, but is non-glitzy, affordable, and close to Denver. Just don't look for a resort at base of slopes.
