I second that - Biking, awesome riding all over and a vibrant cycling culture.
Notable seconds -
1) great hiking and backpacking in MNF and Dolly Sods.
2) free concerts at CVSP.
3) friendly festivals at CVSP like Windfest, Civil War reenactments, and the Scottish Games.
4) Great music, food , and beer at the Purple Fiddle
5) Canoeing
6) Beautiful, cool Summer mountain weather.

Hike, bike, sleep, enjoy the golf at CVSP, explore, climb at Senica Rocks, great running/jogging, tune my ski equipment for the next time I use it, nap, hike some more, oh... and drink good cold beer or good wine while relaxing on the deck of where ever you are as the bear passes by!
Birdwatch. The CV area is one of the best IBAs (important birding areas) in the state of WV. Spring is the best period, and many birding clubs have outings there in the Spring, including the world-famous Brooks Birding Club of Wheeling, WV:

The Wildlife Refuge often organizes guided walks. One of the best local birders is a guy named Casey Rucker from Laneville. Don't miss his walks.
Also, here's a good web resource on birds that can be found in WV:
