I am going to Snowshoe for the first time next weekend, any ideas on where to demo skis only. I would like the opportunity to try more then one brand of ski, as it's time to hang up my straight boards and get with the program. Thanks.

Go to the MAC in the village. You can demo only skis if you wish and I think they have some sort of demo option where you can demo more than one pair per day. This page give you some basic info and costs; http://www.snowshoemtn.com/performancedemos.html

The MAC (Mountain Activity Center) is the place to go. If you're just doing skis be sure to bring your boots (they only need one) so that they can fit the bindings. If you get the high performance package or whatever it is called you can switch skis once per day. I'm in the market for new skis and really liked the Volkl 5 star and did not like the Salomon Hots. BTW, I'd try to pick your skis the night before if possible.
